Vice Rector: Prof. Dina Prialnik
E-mail address: dina@planet.tau.ac.il The Vice Rector is a full professor from the regular academic track. He is appointed by the Senate for the term of the rector's term of office. The bachelor's degree curriculum planning committee; the masters degree curriculum planning committee; doctoral students committee; post-doctoral fellows committee. These committees are run administratively by the academic secretariat. The vice rector also chairs the committee for the improvement of student services.
Prof. K. Prialnik's field of research is in Planetary Science, dealing with numerical modeling of solar system bodies: planets, satellites, asteroids and comets. She also works on the evolution of stars. She was guest at a number of research institutes and universities, among which:

• Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research (MPS), Lindau, Germany
• Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, USA
• International Space Science Institute (ISSI), Bern, Switzerland
• American Museum of Natural History, New York, USA
• Institute for Astronomy, University of Hawaii, Honolulu, USA
• National Central University, Taiwan At Tel-Aviv University, Prof. K. Prialnik was Chairman of the Department of Geophysics and Planetary Sciences, chaired the Committee for Admission Affairs and served on many other committees. She published over 100 scientific papers, edited books and presented her work at over 60 international conferences in 18 different countries. Her book entitled An Introduction to the Theory of Stellar Structure and Evolution was published by Cambridge University Press in 2000 and reprinted; the second edition appeared in 2010.
