Head of the Teaching Center: Prof. Idit Weiss Gal

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching was established in 1997 by Prof. Dan Amir and operates on behalf of the rector. The Center promotes advancement of the university's standard of teaching, and improvement in the various fields such as: hearings on faculty members' standard of teaching; workshops to improve teaching by various methods; individual counseling for lecturers; the inspection of multiple-choice exams; the uses of computerized presentations and more. The Center also assists in the acquisition of teaching aids, and supports lecturers in the compilation, assessment and grading of multiple-choice exams, as well as in the construction of media illustration for classroom use.
